What Eclipses actually mean and how to better prepare yourself!

Nothing is so painful to the human mind as a great and sudden change.” -Mary Shelley

An eclipse isn’t just a cool event or a spectacle. When things in the sky move, change and do their elegant little dance, it means we move, change, and do our little dance on earth. During eclipses, you can feel like your doing a beautiful waltz through an elegant ballroom of life or like a drunk break dancing at the club with no handle on anything. Eclipses always arrive in pairs, stuck together with new moons and full moons, as solar and lunar. Solar means when the moon is standing in the middle of the sun and earth, creating an eclipse. Lunar is when the earth stands between the moon and the sun. It’s basically a new moon and a full moon on steroids.

Eclipses Mark Big Events In Our Lives
Marriages, baby announcements, breaks up, buying a house, changes in career, graduation, studies, these are all possibilities. They are events that you remember, so make a note and look for signs! They bring lots of changes in our lives. Most things are non-negotiable and firm, so accept it and move on!

Some Doors Close, and Some New Roads Open!
With Solar eclipses being on a new moon, we usually hear new, exciting news and have break throughs. With Lunar eclipses on a full moon, we have endings, break ups, loss or emotional struggles. And with eclipses happening within weeks of each other it could be a roller coaster.

Some People Will be ‘Eclipsed‘ Out of Your Life. Eclipses are cycles and if you’ve been in a bad relationship and didn’t know how to get out, well the eclipse will do the work for you. Maybe by surprising you with courage or maybe the other person wants out and you had no idea. Either way, some people who we have finished our karma with or have a negative effect with, will be cut out of your life and in a very unexpected way, who knows, someone might move across the state or book a job away for a few months. In early April of 2014, there was a Lunar Eclipse, a week before the eclipse I broke up with a very serious boyfriend of mine and he moved an hour away.

Eclipses Help You Do Things You Never Thought You Could Do!
There was a lunar eclipse November 2013 in Gemini (my sign) and a month later, I decided to create this newsletter and I never thought I’d be a writer after failing English classes my whole life. My passion has led me to this point and it was an unexpected surprise to fall so deeply in love with writing. So that being said when the eclipse is also in the element of your sun sign than is it extra magical and giving! For example, if you are a Scorpio (water) and there is an eclipse in Pisces (water), generally it will be positive for you. This year (2015) we will have two air-sign eclipses! Air signs like Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius will have a positive out come!

Here we go! Now that you know to expect the unexpected, take a deep breath and enjoy the change and growth that is going to hit us hard! Remember with Astrology depending on your sign and degree that the eclipses fall in, it affects everyone differently, some will be much more affected than others.
